Bangladesh Vs South Africa 2nd Test Match

The second Test between Bangladesh and South Africa  ended in a draw due to rain in 4 days of 5 days play in Dhaka on Monday.

Also the 2 matches test series was drawn 0-0. Both the test matches between Bangladesh and South Africa were abandoned due to rain.

Rain at the Shere Bangla National Stadium disrupted three straight days of play before umpires decided to abandon the match 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the fifth day.

 

The final day’s play at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium was called off Monday morning due to a wet outfield despite the sun shining.

Test match was played for just first day of the 2nd test match Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladesh was 246-8 in its first innings with captain Mushifuqr Rahim topping the score with 65 runs. Imrul Kayes made 30 runs and Mominul Haque made 40 runs while Mahmudullah and Shakib Al Hasan scored 35 runs each in the first inning of 2nd test match.

South Africa won the T20 series 2-0 but Bangladesh had its first ever ODI series victory over the tourists, winning 2-1 after losing the first match.
